Phil Scott
Phil has worked in the financial services industry since 1992, having started with a large insurance company. He went self employed in 1996 as an Independent Financial Adviser before setting up his first company, Needham Market Home Financial in 1999.
After 4 years the decision was made to concentrate solely on mortgages and related insurances and Needham Mortgage Centre was born. Since then, Phil has been influential in the opening of several new offices as the business continues to grow.

Mortgage Advisers
Graham Hodgson
Graham started working in the financial services industry in 1977 before joining Ipswich Building Society in 1978 where he worked for 23 years. During this period he experienced several roles including branch manager and personal financial planner.
Since going into partnership with Phil in 2001, Graham has helped to oversee the expansion of the business throughout Suffolk, whilst continuing to provide a very personal service for his clients.

James Rice
James joined Needham Mortgage Centre in 2003 from a local building society. He has now been advising people on their mortgages for over 10 years and has built up a wealth of knowledge, not only on the advising side but also the processing of applications.
"I spent a number of years processing mortgage applications which has helped me to understand more about the process involved and enables me to anticipate mortgage lenders requirements".

John Pollard
John joined the company in June 2003 and has held a number of different roles during this period. This means that as well as being very experienced advising customers on their individual requirements, he also understands the administrative side of the mortgage application process.
John first started advising in our Leiston office in August 2007. He has since returned to the Needham Market Office although he regularly visits customers for pre-arranged appointments in our new Leiston office at 80A High Street, Leiston.

Compliance Manager
Emily Scott
Emily joined the company from a large insurance company in 2005. She is in charge of ensuring the company meets the regulatory requirements of an FSA regulated company. This involves putting in place certain procedures and regular training and development of all employees.
Emily oversees compliance throughout our offices and makes regular visits to each office, working with each indiviual to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.

Administrators
Niki Rowlands
Niki joined the company in October 2007. She provides administrative support to the 4 advisers based in the office. This involves the processing of mortgage and life assurance applications, collating spreadsheets and maintaining data, as well as assisting with the general daily running of the office.
"With cases changing on a daily basis I make sure the information we have is current. I also run the Ipswich Building Society agency dealing with customer enquiries".

Melenie Mylrea
Melanie started at the Needham office in September 2011 as an administrator, having worked overseas for the past 12 years as a Management Officer. She provides administrative support to the 4 advisers based in the office and also divides her time between Needham & Walton Office proving further admin support there.

Tom Mills
After leaving school Tom started an apprenticeship in the Needham Office . He has gained a wide knowledge of the mortgage industry and plans to study for the IFS Cemap exams as soon as he can. This will provide a valuable platform to move forward in the industry.
